On Sunday, March 10, 2024 at about 1402 hrs, James Fair-Oneil, age 35 of Elmira, was taken into custody and charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree, Class D Felony’s and one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, Class C Felony. This arrest is the result of a traffic stop and investigation by the Village of Bath Police Department that occurred on Chestnut Street in the Village of Bath.
James Fair-Oneil was found to be in possession of a loaded handgun and a switchblade. In addition to handgun and switchblade, Officers found drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.
James Fair-Oniel was processed and transported to the Steuben County Jail for CAP Court.
