The Village of Bath Police Department reports the arrest of Brian P. Hennessy on 02/22/2024 of Spencer NY. Hennessy was taken into custody in reference to pending charges from a traffic stop that occurred 11/06/2023. During the traffic stop a white powder substance believed to be Fentanyl was discovered after K9 Bud was deployed yielding a positive alert. The substance was sent to the State Police Lab where it was analyzed and determined to be Fentanyl. Hennessy was placed into custody by the Village of Bath Police Department for Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree after he was being released from the county jail by Steuben County jail relating to separate charges involving controlled substances. Hennessy is currently being held at the Steuben County Jail.
