The Village of Bath Police Department reports the arrest of Devin E. Smith, age 28, of Bath, NY for Falsely Reporting an Incident in the Third Degree, a class A misdemeanor. Mr. Smith was processed and issued an appearance ticket to appear in Bath Village Court on April 14th, 2021. The arrest was the result of an investigation in which Mr. Smith reported to 911 that a Bath Police Officer was driving intoxicated. A very thorough investigation found the report to be a complete fabrication.
