On 3/29/24 around 4:20pm, Bath Police Officers were dispatched to Colonial Lawns for a disturbance. Officers were advised that the suspect had left the scene, however the suspect was located nearby by a Deputy with the Steuben County Sheriff Office. The defendant, Jason Arnold, 41, of Liberty St. in Bath allegedly walked into the residence of a former intimate partner where there is an active stay away order of protection and he started becoming violent and physical with the victim. He then left before Police could arrive to the residence.
Jason Arnold was taken into custody without issue and charged with Burglary 2nd, a Class C Felony, Criminal Contempt 1st, a class E Felony, and Aggravated Family Offense, a Class E Felony. He was processed and then transported to the Steuben County Jail for arraignment where he was held without bail.
