On Tuesday, August 27, 2024, ELIZABETH R. WALKER, age 32, of the Village of Bath, was taken into custody and charged with one (1) count of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, a class D felony, two (2) counts of menacing in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor, two (2) counts of endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor, and one (1) count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a class A misdemeanor.
On Monday, August 26, 2024, at 9:18 p.m., Officers responded to a disturbance on Howell Street near West William Street in the Village of Bath. Officers arriving in the area were flagged down by a juvenile reporting he had just been chased by a woman with a knife.
WALKER was located in the area and upon interview the knife was recovered. WALKER was released at the time as further investigation was to be conducted.
Upon further investigation, ELIZABETH WALKER was located and taken into custody. ELIZABETH WALKER was transported to the Bath Village Police Department for processing and then to the Steuben County Jail for CAP Court.
